Vicinity is built from the ground up with the core belief that visual privacy is a fundamental right. Our application functions entirely locally to preserve your space.
1. Local Only
Vicinity operates completely locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, and no tracking.
2. On-Device Scanning
The app scans public Bluetooth and Wi-Fi beacons to detect smart glasses. All analysis happens on your phone and is discarded instantly. Nothing is ever sent to the cloud.
3. No Third Parties
We do not use third-party trackers, ad networks, or external SDKs. Your privacy is protected by design.
4. Transparency
Our commitment is to your privacy. If we ever update this policy, the core pillars of zero-data and local-only processing will remain untouched.
